Job Summary

An established enterprise in Dubai is seeking a highly seasoned Quantity Surveyor (QS) to manage commercial and financial frameworks for localized building and infrastructure projects. The role demands an expert with extensive background in contract administration, precise quantity take-offs, and rigorous cost-control procedures to maximize project financial stability.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Execute detailed quantity take-offs and develop highly accurate project cost estimations.

  • Formulate structural project budgets and establish continuous financial monitoring parameters to prevent cost overruns.

  • Administer Bills of Quantities (BOQs), evaluate commercial variations, manage incoming project claims, and supervise formal contract administration workflows.

  • Organize all structural project documentation, tracking logs, and historical financial records.

  • Generate transparent financial statements and status reports to deliver comprehensive updates to internal leadership teams.

  • Partner directly with multi-disciplinary project engineers and construction managers to enforce cost management protocols.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Professional Background: A minimum of 12+ years of active, hands-on experience running quantity surveying functions strictly within building and infrastructure development sectors.

  • Technical Frameworks: Comprehensive mastery of quantity take-off procedures, budgeting systems, financial record documentation, and standard industry-specific QS software platforms alongside Microsoft Office (Excel).

  • Domain Expertise: Proficient in navigating complex contractual claims, structural variations, and BOQ formulations with extreme precision.

  • Interpersonal Capabilities: Sharp organizational traits coupled with commanding communication skills to align multi-department construction teams.

  • Availability Requirements: Immediate joiners currently residing within the UAE are highly preferred to expedite team onboarding.
