Job Summary

KTC International is seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer to join its engineering team and support major infrastructure and utility developments across the United Arab Emirates. This role is designed for a technical professional who possesses solid expertise in structural estimation, procurement management, and end-to-end tendering workflows within the regional civil construction sector.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Lead comprehensive technical and commercial estimation activities for civil infrastructure, road works, and utility grid developments.

  • Formulate accurate project cost estimates, detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material quantity take-offs, and final tender proposal submissions.

  • Manage procurement inquiries, distribute RFQs, and conduct rigorous evaluations of subcontractor and vendor quotations.

  • Review complex project documentation to detect commercial risks, identify cost-saving parameters, and formulate value engineering solutions.

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure submissions comply strictly with client specifications.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Project Portfolio: Proven track record delivering technical and commercial estimations for regional projects valued between AED 20M and 150M.

  • Technical Software: Hands-on operational proficiency utilizing CCS Candy, AutoCAD, and professional BOQ generation frameworks.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction and compliance standards set by local authorities, including RTA, Dubai Municipality, and DEWA.

  • Commercial Capabilities: Excellent analytical, commercial evaluation, communication, and contract negotiation skills.
