Position Profile

FSG Lab is seeking a highly analytical Senior Accountant to direct its daily financial operations in Dubai. This key role is responsible for overseeing general ledger integrity, producing comprehensive periodic financial reports, maintaining rigorous tax compliance, and coordinating upcoming ERP systems integration. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager and CFO while providing mentorship to junior accounts staff.

Main Duties

• Manage and reconcile the general ledger, maintaining precise accuracy across all recorded transaction records.

• Structure and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements alongside operational management reports.

• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries, accruals, and ledger adjustments.

• Execute multi-currency bank reconciliations, monitor intercompany transactions, and verify accounts payable, receivable, and fixed assets.

• Secure full structural alignment with IFRS benchmarks and UAE VAT statutory regulations.

• Support external and internal audits by producing clear working papers and transactional evidence logs.

• Assist with the enterprise implementation of Odoo ERP and recommend adjustments to internal control standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Credentials: Professional accounting certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.

• Industry Focus: Prior background navigating financial records in healthcare, clinical laboratories, or multi-company corporate frameworks is highly desirable.

• Technical Mastery: High-level mastery of advanced Microsoft Excel, standard cost accounting models, and hands-on familiarity with Odoo or similar ERP systems.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep functional familiarity with UAE VAT filing practices and IFRS reporting requirements.
