Role Overview

MZ Architects LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its growing team in Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals who have previously worked in a consulting environment and possess strong knowledge of financial reporting, VAT compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations.

Core Duties

• Manage daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records across the general ledger.

• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll operations, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare comprehensive financial statements, corporate tax documentation, and management reports.

• Ensure absolute compliance with UAE accounting standards and Federal Tax Authority (FTA) VAT regulations.

• Maintain organized accounting documentation, manage transaction entries in the ERP system, and support seasonal audit activities.

Skills & Experience Required

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Gender Preference: Female candidates are preferred by the employer.

• Technical Knowledge: Robust understanding of UAE accounting standards, local VAT laws, financial reporting, and standard bookkeeping.

• Software Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and specialized accounting software; hands-on ERP system experience is a distinct advantage.

• Core Competencies: Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Strong communication skills in English are required; Arabic language skills are an asset.

• Mobility: Must be willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
