Job Summary

A leading law and notary firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in UAE-based legal firm accounting. The selected candidate will handle core accounting functions including payable and receivable management, financial reporting, VAT and corporate tax compliance, and coordination with internal legal and administrative teams.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice and payment processing.

  • Maintain general ledger entries and perform monthly bank reconciliations.

  • Prepare accurate corporate financial statements and management reports.

  • Handle VAT and Corporate Tax compliance in strict line with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations.

  • Liaise with external suppliers, auditors, and internal legal/notary teams.

  • Manage payment follow-ups and ensure timely financial coordination across departments.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Education: BCom or MBA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Technical Knowledge: Expert understanding of legal firm accounting processes, financial reporting, and UAE VAT/Corporate Tax regulations.

  • Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Zoho Books (or similar accounting software) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook).

  • Core Competencies: Fluent in written and spoken English, exceptional communication skills, and a strict commitment to maintaining financial confidentiality.
