Role Overview

A growing real estate organization in Business Bay, Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join its finance team. The successful candidate will manage financial records, ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, support financial reporting, and contribute to budgeting and audit activities.

Primary Accountabilities

• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.

• File UAE VAT returns, ensure Corporate Tax compliance, and align with all statutory regulatory frameworks.

• Formulate precise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing reports, budgets, and forecasts.

• Execute routine bank reconciliations and systematically monitor organizational cash flow patterns.

• Partner with internal and external auditors during annual validation workflows.

Core Competencies

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Industry Insights: Solid background in financial reporting, taxation, and accounting processes, ideally inside the UAE property or development space.

• Technical Frameworks: Firm grasp of UAE VAT laws, Corporate Tax rules, and generally accepted accounting principles.

• Systems Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and modern corporate ERP/accounting software.
