Role Overview

Accuvat Chartered Accountants is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its growing team in Dubai. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and utilize corporate accounting software to ensure efficient financial management and statutory compliance.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Oversee precise financial record keeping and manage daily accounting transaction pipelines.

  • Formulate and reconcile comprehensive financial statements, ledgers, and audit-ready backup sheets.

  • Support senior team members with dedicated client accounting, auditing, and corporate taxation projects.

  • Input and analyze multi-currency transaction sets utilizing specialized accounting software and ERP platforms.

  • Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures while maintaining compliance with relevant accounting policies.

Core Competencies

  • Education: B.Com or M.Com in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (ACCA/CA part-qualified or equivalent is a plus).

  • Technical Skills: Practical proficiency in standard corporate accounting programs such as Tally, Zoho, or QuickBooks, alongside strong Microsoft Excel functionality.

  • Legal Credentials: A valid UAE Driving License is strictly mandatory for this position.

  • Domain Knowledge: Prior exposure to professional auditing frameworks, tax preparation, and baseline accounting concepts.
