Role Overview

A2Z Consultancy is recruiting on behalf of its client for an on-site Accountant based in Dubai. The successful candidate will manage daily bookkeeping tasks, maintain financial record precision, and ensure compliance with local financial laws. This position requires mandatory hands-on experience with Odoo ERP, and previous exposure to the food and beverage, restaurant, cafeteria, or hospitality sectors is highly beneficial.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Manage comprehensive accounting operations, starting from initial transaction data entry up to full financial reporting.

  • Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL) entries, and systematic bank reconciliations.

  • Prepare precise financial statements, Management Information System (MIS) logs, and specialized internal summaries.

  • Monitor operational inventory records and support food cost control optimization protocols.

  • Manage strict compliance operations regarding UAE VAT regulations and Corporate Tax requirements.

  • Utilize Odoo ERP to maintain clean accounting files and assist during month-end and year-end closing cycles.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a closely related professional field is preferred.

  • Technical Software: Deep, hands-on working knowledge of the Odoo ERP platform is strictly mandatory.

  • Taxation Know-how: A solid understanding of UAE VAT frameworks and current Corporate Tax regulations.

  • Industry Profile: 2 to 5 years of background experience in financial fields; prior work inside F&B, cafeterias, restaurants, or hospitality teams is an asset.

  • Traits & Availability: Strong analytical capacities, crisp organizational tracking, and a preference for candidates with immediate professional availability.
