Job Summary

Habico Properties is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join its team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This opportunity is structured for accounting professionals with specific background experience inside the real estate sector who are looking to manage day-to-day corporate financial tracking, ensure regulatory compliance, and support a fast-paced, growing brokerage environment.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain precise, accurate corporate financial records.

  • Prepare comprehensive Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, financial analysis updates, and structural reports for management review.

  • Handle end-to-end VAT filing procedures and maintain strict compliance with UAE tax regulations.

  • Perform routine account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

  • Maintain clean system logs of financial data using specialized accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

Core Competencies

  • Industry Background: Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience, with mandatory prior experience working within the UAE real estate industry.

  • Taxation & Reporting: Strong, practical knowledge of UAE VAT filing procedures alongside experience building P&L statements and financial reporting summaries.

  • Technical Aptitude: Proven proficiency navigating modern accounting software ecosystems and advanced Microsoft Excel frameworks.

  • Interpersonal Traits: Excellent analytical capabilities, sharp organizational skills, and high attention to detail under tight deadlines.

  • Candidate Profile: Open to all nationalities; candidates should ideally hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
