Job Vacancy Overview
ORKI Café, a subsidiary of the Rashid Al Jabri Group of Companies, is seeking a dedicated and systematic Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This position centers on managing financial record tracking, complex transactional reconciliations, and daily administrative accounting operations inside a fast-paced food and beverage environment.
Primary Accountabilities

Record and reconcile daily corporate bank transactions alongside petty cash allocations.

Reconcile daily front-of-house sales captured across POS registers and online delivery aggregators (including Talabat, Keeta, and Noon).

Download, verify, and audit detailed digital sales reports alongside incoming physical supporting documents.

Process vendor invoices, monitor outstanding balances, and issue supplier payments using corporate online banking networks.

Coordinate monthly utility overheads, specifically managing DEWA bill verifications and payments.

Manage corporate payroll distributions utilizing Cash, Kamel Pay systems, and statutory Wages Protection System (WPS) portals.

Formulate, verify, and submit structural quarterly UAE VAT returns in compliance with federal tax guidelines.
Core Competencies

Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent business field.

Professional Background: 1 to 2 years of hands-on accounting experience in the UAE; direct working experience within the F&B, hospitality, or retail sectors is highly preferred.

Technical Strengths: Advanced operational navigation of Microsoft Excel and specialized enterprise accounting software programs.

Regulatory Knowledge: Solid foundational understanding of local UAE VAT regulations, tax invoicing rules, and bookkeeping processes.
