An established company in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its finance department. Primary Accountabilities

  • Input and maintain precise records of daily corporate financial transactions into the company ledger systems.

  • Draft, verify, and process customer invoices, payment vouchers, and structured journal entries.

  • Perform comprehensive reconciliations of bank statements, vendor accounts, and outstanding customer balances.

  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable operational flows to ensure timely payments and collections.

  • Assist senior financial personnel with month-end closing procedures and the preparation of basic financial reports.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related academic field.

  • Technical Aptitude: Practical proficiency navigating Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software platforms.

  • Core Competencies: Solid understanding of foundational bookkeeping principles, bank reconciliations, and general ledger tracking.

  • Preferred Assets: Active knowledge of regional UAE VAT regulations is considered a distinct operational advantage.
