Position Summary

A reputable financial organization based in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is looking for a seasoned Accountant to join its permanent corporate finance division. This role focuses on ensuring complete accuracy in financial reporting, running systematic ledger reconciliations, navigating tax compliance workflows, and organizing financial records within Tally ERP systems.

Core Responsibilities

  • Input and maintain precise financial transactions and bookkeeping entries in the primary general ledger.

  • Execute thorough account and bank reconciliations to verify data integrity and isolate transactional errors.

  • Leverage Tally ERP to log corporate financial movements, asset depreciation, and accruals.

  • Compile standard financial statements and assist in structuring smooth month-end and fiscal year-end closing processes.

  • Ensure all corporate accounting activities align with international reporting standards and regional corporate tax rules.

  • Organize supporting document files to ensure readiness for routine internal and external auditing.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced professional qualifications (such as ACCA, CMA, or M.Com) are highly desired.

  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of dedicated accounting history featuring extensive exposure to financial reporting, auditing, and corporate tax.

  • Software Competence: High proficiency using Tally ERP alongside advanced commands and analytical functions in Microsoft Excel.

  • Key Traits: Meticulous organizational habits, strong analytical problem-solving skills, and the capacity to handle confidential financial data with care.
