Position Profile

A rising construction materials manufacturing and distribution company based in Dubai is seeking a precise and strategic Finance Manager to head its financial operations. Operating from Al Quoz, this leadership role is responsible for overseeing the general ledger, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, regulatory tax compliance, and automated financial reporting to drive commercial growth and efficiency.

Main Duties

  • Direct and optimize overall corporate accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and ledger reconciliations.

  • Construct, analyze, and monitor corporate budgets, rolling forecasts, and strategic liquidity/cash flow models.

  • Deliver accurate, timely monthly and annual financial statements for executive leadership review.

  • Manage corporate compliance with UAE VAT filing, Corporate Tax regulations, and local financial laws.

  • Administer the organization’s ERP systems, spearheading automation initiatives to streamline financial data workflows.

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the accounting team, ensuring operational accuracy and high productivity.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Credentials: Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA qualification is highly preferred.

  • Industry Tenure: Minimum of 5 years of finance experience directly within the UAE construction materials, building manufacturing, or industrial supply sector.

  • Technical Frameworks: Highly proficient in enterprise ERP software, advanced Microsoft Excel functions (macros, pivots, formulas), and financial analysis tools. Knowledge of Power BI is a strong advantage.

  • Taxation Expertise: Robust, up-to-date knowledge of UAE tax structures, corporate tax laws, and standard audit practices.

  • Leadership Traits: Strong analytical thinking, clear executive presentation abilities, and an collaborative team-management approach.
