Position Profile

Gilani Mobility Trading Co. LLC is looking for an analytical Accountant to join its financial operations team in Dubai. This role handles daily fiscal tracking, updates ledger balances, coordinates commercial tax documentation, and delivers clear financial insights using cloud-based software architectures in strict compliance with current UAE regulations.

Main Duties

  • Administer full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable sub-ledgers, verifying vendor invoices and tracking client collections.

  • Record transactional ledger accounts using Xero Accounting Software to keep general records balanced.

  • Prepare statutory corporate tax returns and calculate quarterly VAT liabilities in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) guidelines.

  • Compile monthly balance sheets, income statements, and auxiliary financial updates according to standard IFRS frameworks.

  • Audit banking deposits and cross-reconcile cash receipts against internal operational ledgers to flag accounting variances.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.

  • Technical Savvy: Deep hands-on proficiency working within the Xero cloud platform and navigating accounting database frameworks.

  • Domain Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), local VAT compliance mechanics, and general corporate tax procedures.

  • Core Competencies: Clear corporate reporting traits, sharp numerical evaluation skills, and an organized approach to fiscal documentation.
