Position Profile

AlJurf Development Projects is seeking a systematic and detail-driven Accountant to join its corporate finance division. This role centers on maintaining absolute accuracy across financial ledgers, tracking multi-tiered real estate development accounts, executing bank reconciliations, and ensuring total compliance with localized UAE fiscal regulations.

Main Duties

  • Document, update, and manage the corporate general ledger with absolute structural precision.

  • Administer accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles, verifying invoices against vendor contracts and development milestones.

  • Generate comprehensive monthly financial statements, cash flow reviews, and detailed expense summaries for management review.

  • Execute monthly bank reconciliations and cross-reference internal ledgers to eliminate accounting discrepancies.

  • Coordinate tax document preparation to secure full compliance with UAE VAT policies and state tax regulations.

  • Organize supporting financial paperwork, balances, and transaction histories ahead of seasonal internal and external corporate audits.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.

  • Technical Savvy: Expert navigation of Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) along with hands-on proficiency in modern ERP financial software.

  • Core Competencies: Clear understanding of UAE corporate accounting protocols, strong numerical verification skills, and an analytical approach to complex datasets.

  • Workplace Habits: Exceptional time management traits required to balance multi-project accounting books under tight institutional deadlines.
