Job Summary

A leading FMCG organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join its finance team. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounts payable processes, vendor payments, ledger management, and bank reconciliations while ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.

Primary Accountabilities

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable operations and guarantee timely vendor payments.

• Overseas precise vendor ledger management and maintain up-to-date transaction records.

• Handle bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of corporate financial entries.

• Process incoming invoices and enforce compliance with strict internal financial controls and policies.

• Collaborate with internal procurement teams and external vendors to resolve payment-related issues promptly.

Core Competencies

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

• Industry Background: Essential background managing high-volume invoicing pipelines within the fast-paced FMCG or retail sectors.

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and standard accounting software.

• Soft Skills: Meticulous attention to detail, highly accurate financial tracking capabilities, and excellent teamwork and communication skills.
