Salary: AED 5,500 per Month

Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years in Accounts Receivable or Related Role (preferably in the UAE)

Job Vacancy Focus

A Dubai-based PR and communications company is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to join their finance team. The chosen professional will act as a key liaison between the organization and client finance teams, driving smooth billing processes, timely collections, and accurate financial records.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Manage the accounts receivable ledger, including invoicing, receipts, collections, and aging reports.

  • Communicate directly with client finance departments regarding billing, payments, and account queries.

  • Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure accurate and timely invoice generation.

  • Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end closing activities.

  • Handle VAT-related processing on sales transactions in accordance with local regulations.

  • Monitor outstanding payments and systematically follow up on overdue accounts.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.

Core Competencies

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and working knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and invoicing compliance.

  • Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with cloud-based accounting software and standard financial tools.

  • Traits: Professional and confident communication approach with the ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts effectively.
