Experience Required: 5–8+ Years in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure

Role Overview

LanceSoft is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join its team in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The selected candidate will play a key role in designing, automating, and managing cloud infrastructure, implementing security best practices, and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable enterprise cloud solutions.

Core Duties

  • Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise cloud platform services.

  • Automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and maintain deployment automation processes.

  • Develop, optimize, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.

  • Implement cloud security frameworks, governance policies, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud platform performance, observability, logging, and networking infrastructure.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Professional Azure, AWS, or Terraform certifications are preferred.

  • Cloud Architecture: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

  • Automation & Scripting: Proficiency with Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation alongside scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Systems & Networking: Solid background in Linux administration, cloud networking, and container platforms like Kubernetes (highly preferred).

  • Core Competencies: Excellent tracking, logging, monitoring, and team collaboration capabilities to drive operational excellence.
