Position Profile

PECO MEP Contracting LLC is seeking a detail-driven Document Controller to manage its engineering project records in Dubai. This position serves as the centralized hub for all project communications, taking full responsibility for processing engineering blueprints, material approvals, technical submittals, and site inspection records while maintaining highly organized digital and physical archives.

Main Duties

• Administer full-cycle document control workflows, managing the intake, sorting, and distribution of MEP engineering schematics, shop drawings, and technical submissions.

• Maintain real-time project logs, tracking registers, official transmittals, and engineering blueprint revision controls.

• Audit all incoming and outgoing construction documentation to ensure adherence to compliance guidelines and quality protocols.

• Protect the confidentiality of critical corporate files, project contracts, and commercial correspondence.

• Supervise secondary administrative tasks, including processing petty cash expenses, tracking receipts, and managing basic office logistics.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Industry Expertise: Practical understanding of specialized MEP construction records, including material submittals, method statements, and official inspection requests (IRs).

• Technical Savvy: High proficiency utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook) for maintaining tracking spreadsheets.

• Core Aptitudes: Meticulous organizational habits, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced contracting environment.

• Availability: Candidates must be currently residing within the United Arab Emirates and ready to transition roles.
