Experience Required: 2–3 years of UAE construction site experience as a document controller

Role Overview

Civic Builders is looking for a structured HSE Document Controller to manage safety and environmental data logs across its active project footprint in Sharjah. This role centers on maintaining absolute compliance, overseeing electronic document storage matrices, updating non-conformance records, and keeping all site documentation prepared for rigorous external audits.

Main Duties

  • Administer corporate NCR (Non-Conformance Report) and SOR (Safety Observation Report) data registers, tracking issues through to verified closure.

  • Compile and distribute routine daily, weekly, and monthly HSE statistics, safe man-hour metrics, and incident analytics.

  • Execute document control, version updates, and structured archiving for Method Statements, Risk Assessments (RAMS), and Permit to Work (PTW) frameworks.

  • Catalog safety orientation inductions, personnel training milestones, third-party technical inspection certs, and heavy machinery safety validations.

  • Coordinate documentation exchanges between project engineers, site consultants, and client auditors to ensure strict regulatory alignment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education & Credentials: University Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline, paired with a mandatory NEBOSH IGC or equivalent safety certification.

  • Technical Frameworks: Advanced operational mastery of Microsoft Excel alongside direct experience managing Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) like Aconex or Procore.

  • Core Competencies: Fluent professional English communication skills, meticulous record-keeping habits, and strong practical exposure to site safety closure protocols.

  • Availability: Immediate deployment availability within the UAE is highly preferred.
