Role Overview
Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers is recruiting a detail-driven Payment Poster to join its centralized revenue cycle operations team. Serving as a foundational element of the financial division, this remote professional handles high-volume cash posting, processes client and insurance payments, reconciles bank deposits against specialized clearinghouse files, and keeps patient accounts balanced.
Primary Accountabilities

Input insurance and patient payment batches across all clinical service lines within a strict 48-hour turn-around window from deposit date.

Parse, audit, and post detailed claims allocations using physical or digital Explanation of Benefits (EOB) sheets.

Reconcile daily electronic fund transfers (EFT) and lockbox banking deposits against internal general ledgers.

Flag, isolate, and document payment posting errors or contract allowance variances, escalating chronic issues to the Revenue Cycle Director.

Administer patient balance adjustments and clear validated provider refunds within the enterprise billing software.
Skills & Experience Required

Education: High School Diploma or an Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Billing & Coding, Accounting, or a related field.

Core Aptitude: Highly developed data entry speeds, numerical verification traits, and an analytical mindset geared toward auditing financial records.

Domain Competency: Practical familiarity with EOB documentation, medical billing ledger mechanics, payment reconciliation procedures, and Microsoft Office software.

Autonomy: Proven capacity to manage strict transactional deadlines independently within a quiet, secure home office setting.
