Job Summary

Adventist Health is seeking a highly detailed and systematic Revenue Recovery Associate to support its Patient Financial Services division. Operating entirely in a remote capacity, this position focuses on inputting client billing information, managing accurate claims records, auditing financial transactions, and ensuring optimal efficiency across the healthcare network’s revenue cycle lifecycle.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Input patient and institutional billing data with absolute accuracy into dedicated health system ERP databases.

  • Audit and verify incoming medical billing data sets to secure complete, compliant claims generation.

  • Facilitate the structured compilation and submission of provider reimbursement claims.

  • Liaise closely with internal team units to report, analyze, and correct claim generation errors or systemic billing discrepancies.

  • Collate daily collection data metrics and monthly revenue cycle activities into organized reporting formats for administrative review.

  • Assist with internal billing audits and provide actionable recommendations for ongoing workflow improvements.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; an Associate or Technical degree in a related business or healthcare field is highly preferred.

  • Domain Experience: Prior background handling high-volume data entry billing, collections, or reimbursement processing within a healthcare environment.

  • Technical & Professional Mastery: Strong knowledge of medical billing terminology, revenue cycle operations, and secure financial documentation handling.

  • Core Competencies: Clear team communication skills, sharp analytical verification capabilities, and a commitment to following strict regulatory compliance guidelines.

  • Preferred Credentials: Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification through the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) is a major asset.
