Role Overview

VisionBuild Piling and Foundation is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong background in the construction industry and a proven ability to manage financial operations, cost control, and financial reporting efficiently.

Core Duties

  • Maintain and manage the general ledger while ensuring accurate financial records.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and support month-end closing activities.

  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support business decision-making.

  • Monitor project costs and implement effective cost control measures.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and UAE financial regulations.

  • Coordinate internal and external audit activities and provide the required financial documentation.

  • Collaborate with project, operations, and management teams on financial matters and reporting.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certifications such as CPA, CA, or ACCA are highly preferred.

  • Industry Background: Strong progressive accounting experience specifically within the construction, engineering, piling, or foundation sector.

  • Technical Skills: Robust command of modern accounting software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel formulas.

  • Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of financial accounting, general ledger management, budgeting, forecasting, and UAE financial regulations. Excellent analytical, organizational, time management, and communication skills.
