Experience Required: 5–8 Years (Real Estate, Property Management, or Facilities Management Experience Preferred)

Role Overview

ENGIE is urgently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Abu Dhabi. This position is well suited for accounting professionals with extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and end-to-end accounting operations. Immediate joiners are highly preferred for this opportunity.

Core Duties

  • Manage full-cycle accounting operations and monthly/year-end closing processes.

  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.

  • Prepare annual budgets, detailed variance analysis, and corporate financial statements.

  • Ensure absolute compliance with UAE VAT regulations and international financial standards.

  • Coordinate directly with internal and external auditors and compile required audit documentation.

  • Assist management teams with advanced financial analysis and process optimization.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent are highly preferred.

  • Industry Domain: Solid grounding in financial reporting and accounting best practices, ideally within real estate, property management, or facilities management sectors.

  • Core Competencies: Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and professional interpersonal communication abilities.

  • Availability: Immediate availability to join will be considered a distinct advantage.
