CG Talents is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager / Controller on behalf of a leading luxury retail organization in Abu Dhabi. This is an exciting opportunity to establish and lead a newly created local finance function while contributing to the company’s continued growth and operational excellence.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Establish, structure, and direct the company’s local finance department from the ground up.

  • Oversee comprehensive financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and detailed FP&A functions.

  • Architect and implement robust internal controls, audit trails, and corporate governance metrics.

  • Maintain complete compliance with UAE corporate tax laws, VAT structures, and local statutory filings.

  • Recruit, mentor, and build a high-performing accounting team to support retail business scaling.

  • Partner with senior executives to deliver commercial financial insights and strategic optimization recommendations.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or CMA) is highly preferred.

  • Industry Background: Previous financial management experience within the luxury retail, standard retail, or travel sector is a distinct advantage.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SAP Business One and Microsoft Power BI reporting tools.

  • Core Competencies: Expert grasp of UAE VAT, taxation frameworks, advanced accounting principles, and hands-on operational leadership.
