Position Profile

Khatib & Alami is recruiting a seasoned Site Architect to join its Construction Supervision team in Dubai. Operating on-site across a 48-hour, 6-day work week, this role involves monitoring architectural execution during active construction phases, verifying design compliance for high-rise developments and villa projects, and resolving technical structural challenges alongside contractors and project leads.

Main Duties

• Oversee all architectural construction activities on-site, ensuring absolute alignment with approved blueprints, safety codes, and contract specifications.

• Conduct rigorous daily physical inspections to audit structural craftsmanship and verify material compliance.

• Coordinate technical workflows with engineering consultants, trade contractors, and project stakeholders to maintain project timelines.

• Resolve on-site technical discrepancies and clarify complex architectural design details on the spot.

• Compile daily site logs, track construction progress metrics, and prepare comprehensive quality control reports.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture is mandatory.

• Professional Track Record: Minimum 8 years of overall architectural experience, including at least 5 years operating specifically within the UAE construction landscape.

• Domain Mastery: Proven background supervising large-scale high-rise building projects and residential villa developments, preferably from a consultancy or construction supervision capacity.

• Operational Readiness: Full commitment to a site-based working schedule of 48 hours per week across 6 days.

• Core Aptitudes: Exceptional site coordination traits, sharp technical problem-solving skills, and deep knowledge of UAE building codes.
