Role Overview

Proficient is sourcing a qualified Site HSE Manager on behalf of a major civil construction organization operating in Abu Dhabi. This leadership role is tailored for a senior health, safety, and environmental expert tasked with directing site-level compliance, hazard prevention, and regulatory alignment across high-profile civil infrastructure, road networks, and residential villa development portfolios.

Primary Accountabilities

• Strategize, deploy, and oversee comprehensive health, safety, and environmental management protocols across active civil construction sites.

• Enforce total alignment with municipal construction safety regulations, federal environmental laws, and internal safety policies.

• Conduct strict, routine site inspections to identify operational hazards and enforce rapid corrective action sequences.

• Spearhead risk assessment models and incident prevention strategies, fostering a zero-harm safety culture among project teams and subcontractors.

• Construct, archive, and present detailed safety performance logs, incident analysis reports, and compliance documentation to project stakeholders.

Core Competencies

• Education & Credentials: Must possess a recognized Graduate Qualification alongside a NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma and NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).

• Project Footprint: 10–15 years of dedicated HSE leadership experience with a proven track record specifically covering large-scale civil construction, villa projects, and roadworks.

• Operational Availability: Candidates must currently reside within the UAE and be prepared for immediate professional mobilization.

• Technical Mastery: In-depth understanding of construction engineering risk variables, modern hazard mitigation frameworks, and regional regulatory safety standards.
