Job Summary

A leading engineering and manufacturing enterprise is seeking a structured and detailed Document Controller to manage its engineering project tracking workflows in Dubai. The successful candidate will control the lifecycle of complex architectural blueprints, project records, and external technical submittals within active construction architectures.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Systematically categorize, track, and archive incoming and outgoing construction blueprints, technical data sheets, and project compliance logs.

  • Route commercial shop drawings and request-for-information (RFI) files to appropriate engineering teams to ensure project continuity.

  • Maintain absolute data integrity across physical filing cabinets and digital electronic document management systems (EDMS).

  • Verify that all technical submissions adhere strictly to quality management protocols and regional municipal documentation standards.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Professional Background: Minimum of 3 or more years of dedicated document control experience specifically within the UAE construction sector.

  • Industry Insights: Previous specialized experience dealing with Façade or Curtain Wall engineering documentation systems is highly preferred.

  • Technical Aptitude: Strong familiarity with automated construction data management tools, electronic archiving setups, and office software suites.

  • Core Competencies: Excellent organizational habits, strong attention to technical detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across engineering divisions.
