Position Profile

Capital Round is seeking an analytical and detail-driven Financial Accountant to anchor its growing corporate finance team in Dubai. This position centers on managing day-to-day general ledger operations, preparing comprehensive financial statements, spearheading month-end closing procedures, and ensuring strict compliance with UAE financial regulations and accounting standards.

Main Duties

  • Compile, analyze, and maintain accurate corporate financial statements and structured accounting reports.

  • Oversee corporate financial ledgers and ensure all transactional documentation is meticulously logged.

  • Execute month-end and year-end ledger closing procedures within established organizational deadlines.

  • Review financial data matrices to identify variances and support overall corporate reporting requirements.

  • Audit accounting files to guarantee alignment with internal company policies and external regulatory frameworks.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data sharing and enhance financial process efficiencies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional credentials such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CA are highly preferred.

  • Professional Background: At least 2 years of hands-on experience handling financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, and day-to-day accounting operations.

  • Regional Knowledge: Practical understanding of UAE financial regulations, tax compliance baselines, and accounting practices.

  • Core Aptitudes: High attention to detail, strong data analysis capabilities, and the self-motivation required to meet strict monthly reporting closures independently.
