Position Profile

A prominent building materials trading organization in Dubai is seeking a strategic, high-caliber Inventory Head to direct end-to-end stock operations across a network of multiple distribution centers and retail branches. This senior leadership role focuses on engineering robust stock control policies, maximizing data accuracy, minimizing financial shrinkage, and aligning warehouse capacities with regional supply chain demands.

Main Duties

  • Orchestrate macro-level inventory workflows across all regional storage warehouses and active retail storefronts.

  • Architect, roll out, and audit rigorous stock control regulations, cycle-counting frameworks, and material handling procedures.

  • Interface dynamically with procurement, logistics, and plant operations executives to balance stock availability while preventing costly holding surpluses.

  • Mine complex inventory datasets to construct predictive analytics reports, helping corporate leadership make informed commercial buying decisions.

  • Isolate, investigate, and rectify material variances, damages, or processing leaks to keep shrinkage metrics at an absolute minimum.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a closely related discipline.

  • Industry Background: 10 to 15 years of dedicated supply chain tenure, with mandatory, deep-rooted experience explicitly within Building Materials Trading, FMCG, or large-scale retail sectors.

  • Geographic Familiarity: Strategic operating experience within the UAE market is highly preferred.

  • Credentials & Skills: Exceptional executive leadership, high-tier mathematical analysis traits, and fluid communication skills. Professional certifications (such as CPIM or CSCP) represent a major competitive asset.
