Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years in HSE & Operations (Ready-Mix & Cement Industry Preferred)

Role Overview

CEMEX United Arab Emirates is seeking a qualified Health and Safety Officer to join its team in Dubai. Working under the supervision of the Health and Safety Manager, the selected candidate will play a key role in enforcing safety policies, conducting audits, investigating incidents, and ensuring full compliance with local regulations and corporate safety standards.

Core Duties

  • Enforce a secure work environment and guarantee absolute compliance with local health and safety statutes.

  • Execute safety orientations, specialized training sessions, and interactive hazard meetings.

  • Advance the structural development, deployment, and auditing of company HSE management systems.

  • Lead and coordinate comprehensive accident investigations, identifying root causes and establishing corrective actions.

  • Conduct standard HSE audits and detailed site inspections across concrete and production facilities.

  • Partner with facility managers, operational supervisors, and plant employees to anchor a zero-injury safety culture.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Certifications: NEBOSH IGC, OSHAD, and ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor certifications are mandatory.

  • Technical Capabilities: Proven expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, job safety analysis (JSA), firefighting procedures, and emergency response management.

  • Key Attributes: High level of integrity, strong problem-solving skills, and deep analytical attention to detail.
