Job Summary

A leading organization in Dubai is urgently seeking an experienced HSE Officer with a strong background in transport and logistics operations, preferably within oil and gas projects. The role is critical in ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all operational activities while promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the corporate QHSE Management System in line with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and legal regulations.

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with UAE regulations, RTA requirements, Civil Defence standards, and client-specific HSE guidelines.

  • Conduct strict inspections of transport assets, vehicles, mechanical equipment, PPE, and operational facilities.

  • Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments (RA), hazard identification, and oversee lifting and operational safety procedures.

  • Investigate workplace incidents, near-misses, and non-conformities to execute Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

  • Coordinate third-party inspections (TPI) for lifting assets and prepare essential technical safety documentation for client tender submissions.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Credentials: Mandatory NEBOSH or IOSH certification.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Core Competencies: Extensive familiarity with UAE labor law, RTA transport regulations, safety audits, and emergency response planning.

  • Traits: Strong hazard-detection capabilities, analytical reporting skills, and an immediate or short-notice availability timeline.
