Job Summary

Fala Group is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its team at its Dubai Head Office. This role focuses on managing both pre-contract and post-contract activities for major roads and infrastructure projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in cost estimation, contract administration, and commercial management, along with a solid understanding of road construction standards.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Formulate, review, and adjust Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and comprehensive tender documentation.

  • Supervise project cost control systems, cash flow forecasting, valuations, and overall budget monitoring.

  • Analyze, negotiate, and settle contract variations, claims, and external subcontractor payment applications.

  • Conduct thorough contract administration tasks, including the negotiation and settlement of final accounts.

  • Partner with on-site engineering and project management teams to enforce absolute commercial compliance.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related engineering field.

  • Core Competencies: Extensive familiarity with material quantity take-offs, budgeting protocols, contract administration frameworks, and civil claim mechanics.

  • Technical Insights: Deep knowledge of regional road construction standards, infrastructure execution methodologies, and contractual procedures.

  • Soft Skills: Highly developed analytical reasoning, commercial negotiation traits, and clear stakeholder communication skills.
