Role Overview

A leading organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Medical Equipment Design Engineer to support the planning, design, and implementation of healthcare facility projects. This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in medical equipment planning and multidisciplinary project coordination to ensure solutions meet project requirements, international standards, and healthcare regulations.

Core Duties

  • Coordinate with health planners, architects, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project phases.

  • Review medical equipment layouts, technical specifications, and material submittals.

  • Ensure compliance with international healthcare regulations and medical equipment standards.

  • Supervise the installation, testing, and integration of medical equipment during project execution.

  • Support project teams by ensuring quality, safety, and operational requirements are achieved.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, or a related field.

  • Languages: Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.

  • Standards Familiarity: Experience or strong knowledge of BIM frameworks () and Health & Safety management systems () is a distinct advantage.

  • Core Competencies: Exceptional multidisciplinary collaboration skills, technical review capabilities, and project supervision experience.
