Job Title: Sr. Structural Engineer – Site Supervision

Experience Required: Minimum 12 Years of Relevant Experience (Strong UAE/GCC Consultant-Side Experience Mandatory)

Job Summary

DAR is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Structural Engineer to join its site supervision team in the UAE. This role is suited for a professional with extensive consultant-side supervision experience and a strong technical background in structural engineering for building projects to oversee structural works on-site, ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards, and coordinate with project stakeholders.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Supervise structural works on-site and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.

  • Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and other technical documents related to structural works.

  • Monitor construction activities, workmanship, quality, project progress, testing, and inspections.

  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, MEP teams, and site supervision staff.

  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance for concrete, steel, foundation, and structural elements.

  • Identify site issues, support timely technical solutions to prevent project delays, and maintain quality control records and inspection documentation.

Core Competencies

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.

  • Professional Background: Proven experience in site supervision of building projects, with consultant-side experience highly preferred.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements, building codes, construction standards, and project compliance.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional coordination, reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage site challenges effectively.
